Beginners

Before joining the Club, a player is expected to know how all the pieces move and capture, and to be able to play a whole game of chess. However, Beginners might still be uncertain of some rules and possibly find checkmating very difficult.  The topics in the menu on the left should help.

N.B. You do need to be able to read chess notation, so if you can't, then choose that option first.
